Ideas to build brand and develop collaterals

Business Objective:
The main motivation for this document is to identify and collate ideas that will help in branding and positioning Quarks in US.
The ideas listed below in no specific order focuses on the following:
- Increase exposure of Quarks
- Build a strong social media presence
- Develop collaterals that speak success stories
- Highlight service differentiation and core competencies
- Build elevator pitch materials
- Share accomplishments
- Create process workflows that would help us be on top of this and
- Develop metrics to measure the progress
Social Media Presence
We should strive to have a healthy social media presence to build and expand our brand. Some ideas to explore in this direction are:
Objective:
- Build follower base and improve network connection count in social media.
- Use social media to build and develop brand and image for Quarks.
Steps:
- Create handles for twitter, linkedin and facebook if we do not have one.
- Ensure the handle name is not geo specific. (Quarks Technologies vs Quarks India or Quarks US). Try to have the same name in all the social media if possible.
- Identify cadence for posting contents (weekly/biweekly/triweekly). The last post in twitter is in 2019.
- Follow companies and partners with whom we have worked before.
- Try to build follower base and improve network connection count.
- Repost content from blogs and success stories and direct users to Quarks website at regular cadence.
- Identify interesting topics to share in social media.
Metrics:
- Create a dashboard that shows:
- Trends in subscription/follower count
- Trends in impressions/views of social media as well as quarks website.
- Trends in the frequency of posting contents.
Website/Blog:
Objective:
- Create a website/blog that represent Quarks business, vision and value.
- Create a wrapper page that directs the users based on their geo (to either US or India site).
- The wrapper page focuses on topics such as value differentiation, core competencies, success stories & case studies, partner relationship, Awards and trophies, Certifications.
Steps:
- Create a wrapper page to route the user to India or US site based on IP.
- Ensure the wrapper page has the following talking points:
- Awards/Accolodes if any
- Logos and names of partners (United Nation, Microsoft and so on). Quarks.pdf has a page that lists partners. It would be nice to use them in the front wrapper page on our blog.
- Customer testimonials…US based and India based
- Process compliances such as SEI-CMM certifications and any other
- Case studies and success stories for as many different verticals as possible (organized in reverse chronological order)
- A few examples of succes stories/case studies:
- Typically, the success stories should highlight:
- Value proposition for the client
- Technology stack
- Interesting challenges
- Overall solution design
- Screenshots if any
- Ensure consistent verbiage, standard color, tone, font and style.

Metrics:
- Create dashboard that shows:
- Trends in posting contents over period of time
- Trends in impressions/views of the website/blogs by external users
- Track # of enquiries that come via website
Elevator Pitch Materials:
Objective:

Create succinct and detailed client facing documents. The concise elevator pitch document is used to quickly walk the client through our capabilities and success stories. The detailed document is built for the tech savvy client or IT partners elaborating the tech stack and details around past projects.

It would help to prepare these materials for each supported vertical.
Steps:

Review any existing client facing materials

Brainstorm layout, topics, and template for developing these presentations

Include latest success stories, customize for each supported vertical, highlight partner collobaration, tech stack and value proposition.

All client facing and business seeking members of the team use the same materials, same verbiage and content to sell our services to ensure consistency.

- If we decide to keep the ‘Next Steps’ slide, can we add links to sample documents?
- Can we have a slide in Quarks.pptx (if this is used for elevator
pitch) listing recent success stories and links to the blog so that clients can review them?
Metrics:
- Collate feedback from clients based on elevator pitch
- Version control and maintain the right copies to ensure the documents are up to date and all pending feedback is accounted for.
